Big Island Carbon

Three locations, one in California, one where only one telecom provider is allowed (and it's not us). Unified directory and dialing across all three locations - you can dial the same 3-digit location to reach the plant manager whether you're in California, Kona, or Kawaihae. Callers to the main number can select extensions in any of the three locations and be connected without hanging up and redialing.

Kona Coast Vacation Rentals

Telephone triage - phones ring differently and display a different ID depending on the caller's selection, while still displaying the full caller ID name and number. Click to Call from the website, also rings differently to identify the source of the call. Emergency number with control and privacy: the after-hours emergency number never changes, it rings to a Mobile Extension so that the staff can easily change who's getting those calls, and even have up to 3 cell phones ring at the same time.

Phone and web integrated reservations system. All incoming reservations calls are linked automatically to the web form for taking the reservation. Calls are recorded and automatically linked to the reservation for easy retrieval. The system prints boarding passes, manifests, and management reports.
